Hi, i'm Eliza.B
D. CLIN. HYP AND GQHP, BSc, MA
Your trusted partner in
personal growth and healing.
My passion for
supporting women
through significant
transitions stems from my own experience.
MY JOURNEY
After a successful career, the next phase in my life was to become a mother. Although I was prepared for the practicalities of looking after a baby, I had no idea how
significant, and at times challenging,
pregnancy, birth and motherhood would be.
Like so many women, I experienced birth
trauma which resulted in physical and mental health issues. And, whilst I was
overjoyed to meet and fall in love with my
two children, I found the transition into Motherhood was far harder than I’d
anticipated.
On top of healing the significant changes to my body and mind postnatally, I entered straight into Perimenopause, which presented another hurdle for me to transition through.
It wasn’t until I started researching the
subject that I learnt all about Perimenopause in 30-year-old women and came across the word “Matrescense”,
a term that refers to the emotional and physical transition that women go through
during pre-conception, pregnancy and
birth, surrogacy or adoption, and the postnatal period.
There’s no defined period for Matrescence
as it is a transition from when a woman
becomes a mother, and, from that first
transition into motherhood to managing
ongoing relationships with adult children,
Matrescence can potentially impact us for
the rest of our lives!
Let's just say my transition to Motherhood and Perimenopause under 40 has not been the easiest journey, but I am learning daily and I want to share the knowledge I have experienced with as many women as possible.

The insights and awareness I’ve gained from my therapeutic journey have been invaluable in helping me navigate the transition from a demanding career to balancing work with raising two young children, and now, moving through perimenopause in my late thirties.
Like many of my clients, I have a lot going on! Hypnotherapy allows me to refocus on what truly matters, helping me address deeper issues that often surface with the new perspectives that come with parenthood.
